“Wisdom is not communicable. The wisdom which a wise man tries to communicate always sounds foolish.... Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it.”
HERMANN HESSE, Siddhartha

“The Lord giveth wisdom, and out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding”
Proverbs 2:6

As I was reviewing a basic taxonomy of the Characteristics of a Genius from the website www.BecomeAGenius.net I found many fascinating attributes that fit many people that I know, however only a few characteristics fit within each individual. To obtain all the given characteristics, as well as a high enough intellectual functionality, one could deduce that they are or have the potential of being a genius. Some of the characteristics range from the complex, such as subject knowledge and mental literacy, other characteristics are more common sense focused, such as imagination and auto-suggestion (thinking positive thus getting positive results, think negative the reversal). Nevertheless, I read all of the characteristics hoping for something unusual that would allow for debate or sparks of curiosity to go off, and I found that attribute. Understanding of course that my interpretation of the attribute that I am about to share is most likely not the interpretation that the author of the website is intending for the reader to analytically gain from it.
The characteristic is intuition, the author or contributor of this list of characteristics that allegedly deem a person a genius, Tony Buzan, defines this characteristic of intuition as a sort of “Super Logic in which the human brain compares its historical matrix of multiple quadrillions of bits of data with a new matrix of experience”. That sounds quite fascinating, and in a list attempting to create a variable set of a person considered a genius, that definitely should be one of the main characteristics. However, as I was mediating on the subject, it occurred to me that in Christianity, that foundational matrix of data, memory, and cause and effect thinking was changed or transformed once we accept the foundations of the Bible for eternal Salvation, which is Jesus Christ the Son of God, who died on the cross for our sins, rose again, defeated death, and thus if you believe this and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you are considered a born again, regenerated, transformed person, that is dead to the old person and new and alive in Jesus Christ (John 3:16, Romans 10:9, Romans 6:6, Romans 12:1,2). After this conversion takes place you now are a new creature, and thus have the mind of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Corinthians 2:16).
As I started putting these two points together, the characteristics of a genius with intuition being a super logic, or in other words an advanced form of thinking that occurs within the complex neuro-network and electrical transmissions within the brain, pulling data from a sort of multi-layered matrix of information from everywhere to create pure logical thinking. I put that line of reasoning with the mind of Christ, which to we as Christians acknowledge as the mind of the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God of the universe (Genesis 1:1, Psalm 9:9, Psalm 19:1, Psalm 139, Titus 2:11-13, Hebrews 1:3, 3:1-4, Revelation 22:12-14) that knows all things past, present, and future, as well as every mathematical probability that could have been, if He allowed it to be. If one views these two points of interest, one on the brain, and the other as a Christian with the mind of Christ leading their thinking, the logical conclusion is the Hebrew word Chakam (Strong's 2449,2450, 2451, 2452), or the Greek word Sophia, both mean wisdom, or to be wise, to have and teach intelligence, in other words, common sense compounded with logical thinking, or as Tony Buzan puts it “Super Logic...”.
In the Holy Bible, in the book Proverbs chapter 2 verse 6, it states For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. It goes on to indicate that this chakam or wisdom from God, guards us, leads us, shields us, and so on. This line of thinking, if broken down clinically seems exactly like a system of thinking that is based upon logical choices that are not always easily seen because of the complex nature of the world we as humans live in, and thus a sort of intuition or super logic is needed to truly survive; or those that have wisdom. Of course I am certainly not stating that every person that is a true Christian, saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ, which by doing so does have the mind of Christ, holds this super logic ability. The Bible indicates that we must grow in the knowledge and grace of Christ, study, practice truth and wisdom, acknowledge Him not ourselves, and then we can have this intuition that is not from us, but rather Him moving us towards His will (2 Peter 3:18, 2 Timothy 2:15, Hebrews 5:11-14).
There have been many geniuses in our vast history that have lacked wisdom, (William Sidis, Karl Marx, Nietzsche) and many that have had an abundance of super logic or wisdom ( King Solomon, C.S. Lewis, Martin Luther, Ravi Zacharias), but as your journey moves forward into the realm of thinking, mediating, and learning, seek the things which are above, that is where you will find pure peace and Sophia, may the love of Jesus Christ bless you.

Who is unlocking your True potential!

If you have knowledge, let others light their candles by it. –Fuller

Understanding is the reward of faith. Therefore seek not to understand that thou mayest believe, but believe that thou mayest understand. -St. Augustine

1. Where do you get your Wisdom (Sophia) from, is it yours and did you gain it?
a. Your wisdom is destroyed when your in Christ, His wisdom reigns.
(1 Corinthians 1:19, 20) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
b. Those whom deny the Truth of Jesus and God’s path to Salvation as well as the daily walk in Christ are blinded by the flesh and those whom focus on the Law rather than Grace are living in the flesh not truth and spirit.
(2 Corinthians 3:14) But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
c. Your knowledge of truth and understanding, the power that God has given, how did you get it?
i. (Proverbs 2:6) For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

2. Are you all natural with the secular seal or are you sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13, 4:30), what thought can you create that is divine and pure? None in the flesh. (John 15:5)
a. If you are thinking that “your the man” or got it in order, it’s reality check time!
(1 Corinthians 2:14-16) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
b. Are you going to be World-like or Christ-like
(Daniel 5:17-20) Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation. {rewards: or, fee} O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour: And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down. But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
• Pride cometh before the fall and Satan waits to devour you when your pride becomes your faith. Nebuchadnezzar at first was intensely focused on his worldly throne but he overlooked the One who was truly in control of his kingdom and who was truly sitting on a throne that he couldn’t see because of his worldly pride and pseudo-wisdom

3. Old man of the brain, new man after spiritual brain surgery
a. (Romans 6:6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

b. (Colossians 3:9-10) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
c. If one Body, than obviously one mind (which is perfect)
(Acts 2:46) And they, continuing daily with one accord (Nasb: One Mind) in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Humble is the Essence of what Christ did for us, if He is (en) us then humility should be our Path!
(Philippians 2:3) Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

The mind of Christ in you, and the wisdom that follows by allowing Jesus to control your thoughts will open an entire new realm of peace in your life. Stop seeking your own intellectual wisdom, once you recognize that the mind of Christ gives truth, and because you are saved, that truth is in you, then the intellect that God has given you, will be more pleasing, because you do not rely on it nor do you become depressed when it fails. But when you relay on God’s wisdom, logic and wisdom flow beyond a human’s insight, but rather the sight that opens doors of grace in your life. “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen” 2 Peter 3:18
